ASRY (Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard) is the Arabian Gulf’s leading maritime repair and fabrication facility.

Founded in 1977 in Bahrain, the multi-service yard operates in four sectors – Ship Repair & Conversion, Rig Repair & Conversion, Naval Repair & Conversion, and Fabrication & Engineering– which combined cover all types of vessel repair including jack-up rigs and other offshore assets, as well as fabrication of onshore and offshore industrial components. Its leading range of facilities includes a 500,000dwt drydock, two floating docks of 252m and 227m in length, 15 repair berths with a total length of approximately 5,000m, twin 255m slipways, as well as a 250,000+sqm fabrication area, and a full range of workshops and service centres.

Ship Repair & Conversion has been the backbone of ASRY since the yard was founded in 1977.

In those four decades, ASRY has completed over 4,120 projects in total, with an average of 200 more each year.

It is the most experienced ship repairer in the Arabian Gulf, with almost 50% of annual ship projects taking place on vessels from global owners and managers, and the remainder from regional clients with fleets based in the busy Arabian Gulf waters.

In addition the yard operates a twin slipway of 255 m are ideal for accommodating offshore service boats, large tugs and supply vessels.
