Chantiers Navals de Dakar S.A (DAKANAVE) shipyard is strategically located on the West Coast of Africa, in Dakar, Senegal: in an ideal position to serve any ship or vessel using the very important sea route north/south and vice-versa.

“DAKARNAVE” is an affiliated company of “LISNAVE INTERNATIONAL, SA”, itself a member of the group of companies headed by “LISNAVE Estaleiros Navais de Lisboa”, Portugal, the largest ship-repairing group in Europe, and one of the largest on the world.

“DAKARNAVE” is managed by staff trained in Portugal, at its Parent Company, and is capable of executing any type of work within its capacities to the highest international quality standards. Ship up to 60.000 TDW and 235 meters LOA can enter the shipyard for normal or special dry-dockings.

Piers are available to carry out afloat repairs.

Dakar benefits from a moderate climate, good hotel facilities and efficient flight connections about four hours flying time from Europe. Supplies can easily be brought in by sea on containers with regular shipments from Europe and Far East.
