The main works of Hitachi Zosen and Universal Shipbuilding Corporation for many years, Innoshima Works combines advanced technology and extensive experience accumulated in the repair and conversion of all kind naval and merchant ships. The Works also makes many kinds of performance-engineered steel structures available to customers around the world.
Customers who bring their project to Innoshima Works can draw on a wealth of experience, technology, specialized know-how, and a comprehensive system of quality assurance covering the repair of destroyers and training vessel, fast combat support ship, other auxiliary vessels, and minesweeper coastal. Innoshima Works is also expertly qualified in the conversion and repair of vehicles carrier, chip carriers, and other work vessels. Project services include consultation, special works design, material procurement, and engineering and on-site supervision of offshore steel structures. Additionally, the shipyard provides lodging facilities for the crew of incoming ships.
